Two men have died in crashes on Sussex road in this morning’s bad weather.
The first victim was killed after the car he was travelling in crashed with a milk van on the B2145 at Siddlesham, near Bognor.
The second was a motorcyclist who died after apparently falling from his bike on High Street, Uckfield.
The first man was one of three people in a Ford Galaxy saloon when the accident happened shortly before 4am today.
The other two men were cut free by West Sussex Fire and Rescue.
They and the driver of the milk van were taken to St Richards Hospital at Chichester.
It is not known how serious their condition is.
The motorcyclist came off his bike shortly before 5.30am today, leaving him with serious head injury.
The man, who has not been named, was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
It is not thought that any other vehicle or person was involved.
Police are appealing for anyone near the Sidlesham crash who may have any information to contact them via 0845 60 70 999 quoting Operation Shepway.
