THE investigation into a teenager suspected of an arson attack which ravaged a school has been extended.
A 15-year-old from Burgess Hill was due to answer bail yesterday in connection to the blaze which ripped through rooms at Oakmeeds Community College, in Station Road, Burgess Hill, in November.
Sussex Police said it had decided to extend the bail for further investigations to be carried out.
It is understood more time is needed to consider other incidents of vandalism at the school.
In October a vandal broke into a block of the school and slashed £11,000 of computer and projection screens.
A third break-in took place on Christmas Day, when the tyres of two minibuses were slashed.
The school recently said its CCTV footage showed only one person was involved in each incident but the images were not clear enough identify them without doubt.
