A cold wet and windy day saw Albion notch up their second home win of the season as they easily disposed of high-flying Millwall.

We started well and pretty much dominated the first half. The turning point in the game was in the 28th minute when Virgo got hit in the eye and had to be replaced by the fit-again Murray. You could see Murray's hunger to get stuck in and on the stroke of half time he received a pass from Richards, passed the defender and slotted the ball home to make it 1-0.

Millwall came out the stronger side and had Brighton on the back foot for 10 minutes or so, Harris hit the crossbar and then on 49 Minutes Kandol - a transfer target for us a few seasons ago - curled the ball past Sullivan and evened things up.

Then Albion took over the game and showed some class. On 57 minutes Anyinsah ran into the book and got taken down and we were rewarded a penalty, Murray stepped up and the keeper saved with his legs, but Murray followed up and scored the rebound.

The impressive Johnson once again scored making it three goals in two games, Murray beat his man down the right and slotted the ball through to Johnson who smashed it home.

Then to wrap up a fantastic afternoon Whing headed off the line, the ball fell to Richards who smashed a pass up to Murray on the right, who crossed it in for Cox to score - 4-1.

Overall a great performance hopefully we can take it into our three cup matches coming up. Derby are going to be hard to beat but on current form I fancy us to win maybe in extra time or penalties.
