A very disappointing gutless display from Brighton - completely outplayed and out-muscled in all areas on the pitch. After two draws at home and two average displays we needed a good performance to please the crowd and boy, did we not get it.

In the fourth minute Brighton's defence just didn't turn up and Woolford came in at the back post to score from a cross after good attacking play. It was a case today of "Brighton’s defence didn't turn up today I'm afraid” - they looked second best all day and were punished.

Just before half time the amazing Hooper scored his first. Although I thought it was offside others said it went out but we went two down. This meant in 45 minutes we had doubled our goals conceded.

I was expecting an Albion revival in the second half with Adams moving Livermore to left back and Richards into centre Midfield. But my hopes were soon squashed when Hooper scored again after a mistake from Richards.

Then more awful defending from Brighton’s Hooper with a fourth goal scored. A sea of people left at this point and to be honest I don't blame them as we never looked like winning this game from the start.

Then some joy for Albion: a Cox cross finds Robinson at the back post who heads a goal. We did have some chances in the game - Murray just chipping wide and a great double save from Robinson - but Lady luck was not with us today.

Last week I said that Booing was unacceptable at the game. Now, I understand everyone has an opinion but do people really think it helps? Look at Lampard … he gets booed all the time for England and doesn't play well.

You could see from the start that confidence was low after two disappointing home games but we need to get behind the team NOT boo. If I got booed I’d think why do i bother? And that how they will probably feel. They know it wasn't a great performance and Adams will tell them that. Just lay off them and get behind them.

I have no doubts that we will beat Yeovil on Saturday as we seem to be travelling well. Why is that? Because the people who go to away games get behind the team WHATEVER and don't boo at all. That's why they get results. If the home fans did the same then results will improve. I'm going for 1-0 with Forster scoring.
