Wednesday 30th July Well today i'm tired! It’s going to happen. Weather is still looking good for Saturday. But yesterday I was up at 7 am and went to bed at 1 am. This is not good for me. So today I am going to try and get some more sleep. I have already been to Radio Reverb and appeared on their breakfast show. And have another interview at 11am. Friday’s blog will have my how to survive the park details! But i’m thinking how am I going to survive this week. Although I do get such a boost from the generosity of some people. Yesterday I went over to Worthing to pick up a van from Abacus Van Hire who always donate a van for us to hire for the week. How good is that?

So what’s on the menu today, Pride wise? Well I am off to The BLAGSS Golf Challenge at Waterhall Golf Courses. I have never picked up a golf club in my life. I play tennis which I love at Preston LTC and lots of other players there also play golf. So there are several categories and there is a starter one so… me on golf course.. this should be interesting.

Also Tonight there is the BIG Pride’s Got Talent final at the Queens Arms. I am one of the judges and will be looking for the next best thing for the cabaret stage this year. Last year Gilly B & JJ were fantastic winners and did a great performance on the cabaret stage. So that is a great opportunity and I wonder who will be the one winner. Also out and about The Amsterdam are doing food around the world all week and tonight its Paella and Tapas. Might have to pop into that.

Then later tonight I will be going to watch the Weakest Link at Revenge. This year is the first year with Host Miss Sally Vate who has taken over from my alter ego Anastasia who is now in rehab full-time! I cannot believe a year has gone by so fast since I did my last show Also out and about is the John Waters film night at the Caroline of Brunswick and they are showing Pink Flamingos, Desperate Living and Hairspray (one of personal favourites) All other listings can be found at www.brightonpride.org and we are still looking for volunteer stewards for the parade. So get in touch with the office on 01273 775939 and you can get trained up and be wearing a hi-viz jacket and get a nice VIP ticket to the members area too for helping out!!!! See you tomorrow
