Two lanes of the A27 are currently closed after a vehicle caught fire on the road.
Traffic is currently backing up on the eastbound carriageway after a vehicle was engulfed in flames earlier this afternoon.
Smoke from the blaze could be seen billowing over the road and over the Amex Stadium near the incident in Falmer.

The traffic is worsening as the incident coincides with full time in Albion's 1-1 draw with Everton.
Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
