Police are investigating after a parked car caught fire around the corner from a packed pub.
The Peugeot went up in flames on Wednesday night with people crowding around to watch it melt away in Park Crescent Road, Brighton.
The car's front and interior were severely damaged - and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 6.10pm on 10 January to reports of a car fire in Park Crescent, Brighton.
"Firefighters from Preston Circus were in attendance and used two breathing apparatus and one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.
"There were no reports of any casualties.
"If you have any information or relevant doorbell footage, report to police online or via 101, quoting 1019 of 10/01."
