Firefighters extinguished a taxi blaze in a quiet residential street this morning.
Video has captured the moment firefighters tackled the taxi fire in Byron Street, Hove at around 10am.
The bonnet of the private hire Skoda was charred and left open after crews used hoses and wore specialist breathing equipment to extinguish the fire.

Water was sprayed into the engine bay while smoke rose into the sky. The road was closed while firefighters battled the blaze, and there are no reports of injuries.
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: "East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called on November 16 2023 at 10.07am to a car fire in Byron Street, Hove.
"One fire engine from Hove was in attendance. Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.
"There were no reports of any casualties."
