Firefighters and the coastguard were called to a blaze on a ferry.
The fire broke out on the Newhaven Ferry in the early hours of this morning.
Crews from Newhaven's coastguard branch and East Sussex Fire and Rescue service (ESFRS) went to the ferry port.

The South East Coast Ambulance service (Secamb) also sent a vehicle.
A spokesman for Newhaven coastguard said: "We were tasked to a multi-agency response to a fire on board the Newhaven Ferry.
"Alongside the fire service it was established that the passengers had already been evecuated and the fire put out."
A spokeswoman for ESFRS said: "We were called at 5.18am on October 8 to reports of a ship fire at Newhaven Harbour.
"Firefighters from Newhaven, Lewes, Roedean and Preston Circus were in attendance. On arrival crews established that the fire had been extinguished. An assessment of the fire was made to establish that it had been extinguished.
"There were no casualties reported and all passengers had disembarked the ferry.
"All appliances left the scene by approximately 6.35am."
