Thick smoke filled the air this morning after a van caught fire in a town.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus as they tackled the blaze in Broadwater Road, Worthing, on Friday (September 15).
The road was closed while emergency services responded though it is not thought there were any injuries.
A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “Today at 8.11am we were called to a small vehicle fire on Broadwater Road, Worthing.

“Joint Fire Control mobilised one fire engine from Worthing to the scene.
“Upon arrival the crew found a van well alight. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hose reel.
“The crew left the scene at 8.42am.”
