FIREFIGHTERS are at the scene of a fire at a scrapyard.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue were called to the fire in East Quay, Newhaven, about 5.48pm on Tuesday, August 24.
A total of six pumps are in attendance – from Seaford, Newhaven, Lewes, Preston Circus and Hove.
The fire is reportedly at a scrapyard.
Earlier this year, firefighters attended a "deep-seated" fire at Ripley Scrapyard in Newhaven.
Four appliances attended and the fire was located under scrap metal.
