EMERGENCY services rushed to the seafront after reports of a woman suffering a medical episode on board a yacht.
Residents at Brighton Marina saw police, ambulances and Coastguard officers at 7pm on Sunday.
There were reports that a police diving team was sent to the scene.
It was reported that a patient was seen being taken away from the area on a stretcher.
Witnesses saw the emergency response at the West Jetty.
Sussex Police said: “Emergency services were called at around 7pm on Sunday (14 March) following reports of a woman suffering from a medical episode while on board a yacht at Brighton Marina.
“She was transported to the Royal Sussex County Hospital by ambulance.”
