A MAN has died after collapsing in a street.

Police and paramedics filled Crown Street in Eastbourne as they attended the incident.

They stayed in the street for several hours afterwards. It was later revealed a man had died.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “A man collapsed and died in Crown Street, Eastbourne, shortly after 1.30pm following a medical episode.

“There are no suspicious circumstances.”
