A MISSING man has been found dead in a hotel.

Lewes man Gary Offley was discovered at a hotel in Tunbridge Wells yesterday.

He has been pronounced dead.

Sussex Police said: “Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”

A spokesman for East Sussex County Council, where he worked, said: “We are shocked and saddened to hear of Gary Offley’s death and are supporting his colleagues, who have been particularly affected by the news. 

"Our thoughts go to his family and friends at this difficult time.”
