TWO football fans had the best seats on the seafront as they watched last night's England game from a makeshift lounge on top of a van.
The mobile front-room was decked out with a coffee table, a sofa, alcohol, and even a Deliveroo.
Brighton landscapers James Hamilton, 29, and Jamie Evans, 36, took their creation to the Luna Beach Cinema and soaked up the sunshine from the rooftop.
Mr Hamilton told The Argus: "We had a great view, incredibly comfy and had a lot of fun interacting with passers-by.
“It was my workmate Jamie Evans' idea.
“He went to the last game with a bean bag on the roof and decided it was worth stepping up.”
The cheeky and industrious duo turned heads on the beach with many passers-by taking pictures and getting involved in the seafront shenanigans.
“As a whole, the police were great – they laughed and thought it was funny.
“One policewoman tried to tell us she wasn’t OK with it and to move. But at that exact moment our Deliveroo arrived to the van and there was a huge cheer."
James and Jamie, who work for JS Landscapes, borrowed the van from their boss Jake Smith.
The pair are busy for England’s game this Saturday, but if the Three Lions secure a place in the semi-finals, they have some "major plans" for the MK3 Transit lounge.
