SOME of the world’s biggest music stars have graced the stage in Sussex over the years.
Award-winning pop band Culture Club’s Boy George is one of those stars.
He is pictured above playing a show in the county, although our archive does not state a date or venue.
The band formed in 1981 and took the world by storm, selling more than 150 million records.
Culture Club are best known for their hit songs Do You Really Want To Hurt Me and Karma Chameleon.
Boy George remains a huge star and fans were thrilled yesterday when he announced a new tour.
He will be returning to the stage in the city later this year, playing at the Brighton Centre on November 13.

The drummer and singer/songwriter performed as a solo artist, as well as enjoying huge success with the band.
Collins set the record for having more US Top 40 singles than any other recording artist during the 1980s.

The chart topical musical maestro has enjoyed a career spanning five decades.
During this time he has sold more than 300 million records around the world.

Adam Ant, whose real name is Stuart Leslie Goddard, from the hit 1980s and 1990s rock band Adam and the Ants, is also shown on stage in Brighton.
