BRIGHTON Kemptown MP welcomed the value of English language schools during a visit to EF, a year-round international school.
He was taken on a tour of the Sussex Square campus, answered questions from students and met with staff.
EF Education First is a family-owned international education company which has been offering English language courses in Brighton for more than 50 years.
He said: “Language schools, like Education First, and their international students are an asset to Brighton and to the UK.”
“In Brighton, EF is not only helping young students improve their English, it is also introducing many of them to the UK and our culture here in Brighton for the first time.
“It was great to hear that most of EF’s students opt to stay with local families, and that their support for our local community includes fundraising for local charities.”
