A GROUP of young women are being hunted after a number of people were attacked outside a fast food restaurant in Brighton city centre.
Several men and women, aged 18 to 35, were assaulted near Burger King in North Street, Brighton.
Sussex Police said the victims were in the area of Burger King when the assault by a group of young women took place between just after midnight and 1.10am on Friday, December 15.
Detective constable Thomas Duffy, of Sussex Police, said: "I am keen to speak with anyone who was approached by these women or assaulted while outside or near to Burger King that morning."
A 21-year-old woman from Hove was arrested on suspicion of assault and later released under investigation.
Also arrested on suspicion of assault and of possessing cannabis was a 28-year-old man of no fixed address. He was released under investigation but then re-arrested as being wanted on recall to prison.
