PRIMARY school pupils were taken on a journey around the world as the UK’s biggest virtual reality (VR) lesson was held on Brighton beach.
More than 140 youngsters from Moulsecoomb Primary School, Bevendean Primary School and Hertford Infant School donned the special VR headsets.
Thanks to footage which spans 360 degrees they were transported from Brighton to Paris, Mont Blanc, a Dutch meadow, a South East Asian desert island and finally Rio de Janeiro.
The day was organised by Brighton digital company Properllernet. Managing director Nikki Gatenby said: “We wanted to give children the opportunity explore both this magical city, and further afield.”
