Fifty tonnes of straw was destroyed in a barn fire overnight.
Up to 30 firefighters were needed to tackle the blaze at a farm in Holtye Road, East Grinstead.
The alarm was raised at about 11.15pm last night and it took more than three hours to put the fire out.
A digger inside the barn and the building itself were also destroyed.
Crews are still at the scene this morning to make sure the area is safe.
Investigations are continuing into how the fire started.
