Detectives are still looking for a sexual predator who assaulted a woman on Brighton beach – almost three months after the attack took place.
The 22-year-old victim was assaulted by the man, who she met during her night out, after they went to sit on the beach close to the Coalition nightclub in the early hours of February 28.
Grainy CCTV footage recorded in the city centre shows a group of people who police believe may have seen the attacker and could be able to identify him.
The attacker was described as an Arabic man who had tanned skin and was bald, in his 5' 3" and of average build. He was in his his late 20s or early 30s and was wearing a brown leather jacket, jeans and a white and black red striped t-shirt.
A man who was seen with him earlier that evening was tanned, slim and in his late 20s or early 30s. He was wearing a beanie hat.
Officers have spent the last two months speaking to witnesses and trying to identify the attacker but have so far been unable to find the man.
Detective Constable Sophie Tullett said: "This has been a very traumatic experience for the victim who is understandably very upset about what happened to her.
"We need to speak to anyone who recognises any of the people in the footage and who could tell us where they are so we can speak to them.”
