CYCLISTS dressed up as Tour de France fans to highlight the number of people who cycle to work.
Cheering on passing riders, the flashmob was set up by members of Biketrain, a group of volunteers who run stewarded bike rides in Brighton.
They gathered at the top end of The Level in Brighton yesterday morning as the early commute got underway.
Alison Lewis, of the group, said the aim was to cheer the riders “as if they are champions”.
