A Brighton man has been found dead in a gym used by residents of a smart gated community.
Police were called to The Park Apartments, off London Road, Brighton on October 7 after reports a man was dead in the gym attached to the apartment blocks.
They found 29-year-old Adam Soubra, of Brighton, who is understood to have previously lived at the apartments.
It is believed he was in the process of moving house around the time of his death.
The gym, which can be used by occupants of the flats and includes a sauna, was open yesterday.
One man, who asked to remain anonymous, said: “I saw the police here but I did not know what had happened.”
A second resident added: “I saw them bringing a body out the gym."
On Facebook Mr Soubra, who said he previously attended the now-shut Falmer High School, Brighton, said he owned a laser hair removal company in Brighton which appears to have closed.
Friends paid tribute to him on the site. One said: “RIP Adam Soubra you will never be forgot!”
A second added: “Great times at college causing mayhem... Always how I'll remember him.”
Another friend said:” So shocked. RIP mate. We'll be there to see you off. Old crew. Can't believe this.”
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Adam Soubra, 29, living in Brighton, was found dead in a gymnasium at The Park Apartments in London Road, Brighton, on October 7. An inquest into his death will be held in January.”
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
