A happy hedge has been busy putting a smile on people’s faces.

The grinning green creation is fast becoming a popular attraction with passers-by stopping to grab a picture outside a caravan park in Selsey.

A smaller bush carefully placed nearby gives the impression the giant hedge is giving a thumbs up.

The hedge has also proved it is a cut above the others, with mentions on national TV and a host of Twitter comments.

It is close to the entrance of the Bunn Leisure caravan park and has been helping brighten up the day for staff and visitors.

Operations director Mike Caven said: “This is the perfect start to their stay at Bunn Leisure. It’s the ideal welcome as they reach their journey’s end.”
