Four people were trapped in a fire in the Regency Square underground car park last night.
One person had to be taken to hospital after the fire broke out in the car park on Brighton seafront.
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that fire crews were called to the scene just after 10pm following reports of people trapped in the blaze.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is continuing this morning. The condition of the person taken to hospital is not yet known.
