A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a car between two roundabouts.
The crash happened on the A27 westbound carriageway between the Whyke roundabout and the Stockbridge, Chichester, roundabout at 9.30pm on Saturday.
The occupants of the car were uninjured but the pedestrian died at the scene.
Anyone who saw the crash should call Sgt Stewart Goodwin at Chichester road policing unit on 0845 6070999, quoting Operation Lexell.
