Profile: This week’s Download is the 300th since the column began in 2007.

And perhaps appropriately enough, helping us celebrate are noise-poppers The Hundredth Anniversary, which formed in January 2012, and are part of the North East-based DIY label Tiny Lights.

Last July the band released Guts, a split cassette through Reeks Of Effort with London and Brighton bands Tyrannosaurus Dead and Gum.

Their first Tiny Lights release came out in March, with the limited-edition 7in single The Jump, which is this week’s Download.

The band is set to return to the studio later this year to work with producer Rory Attwell.
