Profile: Beach funk purveyors The Flip Flays have been playing their good-time summery pop since 2008, having come together after founders James Petts and Mike Hawkins met while studying a music degree.

The band released a five-track EP Beach Funk in 2010 through iTunes.

Now following the departure of their drummer, Ben Thompson, who has joined the mega-selling Two Door Cinema Club on tour, the new line-up is set to independently release their new single High Definition this month.
