The Flash Bang Band

From: Brighton

Influences: Flaming Lips, Guns N Roses, Dev/Null, Jeff Buckley, Buraka Som Sistema, Of Montreal, The Mars Volta, Black Lips and Super Furry Animals.

Profile: Formed in Brighton towards the end of 2008, Flash Bang Band has already recorded an EP, and supported the likes of The Hidden Cameras in Brighton.

Random Acts Of Kindness was recorded in Dorset, mixed in Brighton and mastered in Devon, and is currently available from gigs, by emailing the band through their MySpace site, or at Resident in Kensington Gardens, or Rounder Records in Brighton Square.

The band, which now features new trumpet and keyboard player Ian Radcliffe, is also set to play at the Meadowlands Festival as part of the Brighton Festival Fringe at the end of May. They are currently planning to put together an album by the end of the year.
