Profile: Despite only being together for a short time, Brighton’s Phantom Runners have gained enough traction to get Fun Lovin’ Criminal and BBC Radio 6 Music DJ Huey Morgan to produce their soon-to-be-released debut EP at London’s Dean Street Studios.

The band’s music has been played on the BBC’s Introducing programme and on Radio 1, as well as soundtracking the video of a cover-shoot with model Hailee Steinfeld for ASOS magazine (see youtu.be/ JzEKBNNETp8).

Over the past year, the four-piece have turned their Brighton flat into an impromptu gig space, as well as playing guerilla gigs at Secret Garden Party, Bestival and Latitude.

This week’s download was released as a single through Stray Cat Records in September.
