Profile: Mohit formed last summer from a group of old friends who had played in different bands.

The band came together as they wrote parts to each other’s songs and jammed in bedrooms, before making a conscious decision to make a go of it.

Following a series of shows around London and the South Coast, the band recorded the live EP Jersey Turnpike Demos over Christmas, which is hoped to be the first of many this year. It is available free from their bandcamp site below.

The EP showcases the trio’s slightly dreamy indie rock sound, which finds room for a few prog rock rhythms and riffs along the way.
