Influences: Saving the world, the fight for justice, the downfall of The Organ Grinder, the feeling of lycra against our naked bodies (plus a bit of Kiss, The Flaming Lips, Marvel and DC Comics)

Profile: Formed in 2008 these six musical superheroes comprise of man/cow hybrid General Bovine, time travelling scientist Dr Amazing, Lucha Libre vampire El Vampiro Diablo, black man trapped in a white man’s body Bo Diggity, dark knight vigilante Judgement Dave and Spandex-clad genderconfused alien Captain Courageous. Bound together through a shared love of justice, Spandex and guitar riffs, the band released a double A-side single Fight The Fight/J.U.S.T.I.C.E. Force Dance through Xtra Mile Recordings on Monday (5). The band’s live performances feature confetti cannons, costume changes, robots, and live musical battles with the group’s arch-nemesis, The Organ Grinder.
