Profile: When musical comedian Tim Minchin attended a Harry Oakwood night in North London he promptly asked the band to support him at his sold out Somerset House show in front of 3,000 people.

It's not hard to see why having heard their combination of Americana influences with beautiful harmonies, story-telling lyrics and gorgeous but subtle orchestration, mixing acoustic guitars, piano, shuffling percussion, and occasional harmonica and mandolin.

Since the Somerset House show the five-piece has worked with the Aurora Orchestra, on a show which was broadcast live on BBC Radio 3, supported Phantom Limb, and gained airwave support from BBC London's Gary Crowley.

Currently available is their self-released four-track EP, which is home to this week's free download.

The band includes James Hayto, who was born and bred in Lewes.
