Capital
Profile: The past couple of years has seen Capital get named by The Sun as one of the highlights of the 200 or more bands playing at the 2009 Camden Crawl, and thumbs up from the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq, Q Magazine and The Fly. Describing their music as “the missing link between orchestration and synthetics” the five-piece, which got together six years ago in a greasy car garage, is set to release their debut album Force Is Not A Remedy next week, on their website as a free download. The album was recorded in their home-built studio situated above a curry house and below a tattoo parlour. Live the band has supported Athlete, The Airbourne Toxic Event, Broken Records, I Like Trains and The King Blues as well as playing at Latitude Festival in Suffolk.
