Profile: Since their formation in 2010, Brighton five-piece Brand New Start have played sold out shows at The Hope and Latest Music Bar, and this month are set to launch their debut EP The Harder You Try.

The band describe themselves as folk-rockers, mixing the acoustic upbeat rhythms and crescendos of Mumford And Sons with a relentless electric backdrop.

Their sound palate combines guitars with harmonica and ukulele, coupled with an energetic live show.
