John Lambert is the new Hastings United manager.
Lambert succeeds Tony Dolby at the Pilot Field and will be assisted by Wayne Farrier.
Chairman Dave Walters made the appointment last night, a week after Dolby stepped down after guiding the club to Ryman League premier division safety last season.
Former Hastings player Lambert steered the club's reserves to a top-five finish in the reserve section premier division last season.
