70 years on...

70 years ago, on November 26th 1938, the Bishop of Chichester, Bishop George Bell and The Revd James Hannington, son of Bishop James Hannington who had been speared to death in Uganda, laid foundation stones to begin the building of the church dedicated to Bishop Hannington's memory. One of the stones came from Uganda, near to where the Bishop was murdered.
