Three Wetherspoon pubs in Brighton will introduce new dishes to their menus next month.

From May 1, The Bright Helm in West Street, The Post and Telegraph in North Street and The West Quay in Brighton Marina Village will serve new products including a ramen noodle bowl and a Shawarma chicken wrap.

The ramen noodle bowl, which Wetherspoon describes as a vegan, low-calorie dish, consists of noodles, bean sprouts, shitake mushrooms, spring onions, pak choi, bamboo shoots, red onions, sliced chillies, and coriander in a light broth.

Customers will have the option to add a poached egg or grilled chicken breast for an additional charge if they want.

The new Shawarma chicken wrap will also be on offer at these pubs.

It will be filled with spiced pulled chicken thigh, Middle Eastern spices, Naga chilli and garlic and herb sauces, tomato, onion, rocket, and fresh mint.

As well as these two new meals on the menu, other new items available will include a new range of ten-inch wraps, which will be cheaper with fewer calories.

The options available will include a small vegetarian brunch wrap, a southern-fried chicken wrap and a small fried halloumi-style cheese wrap.

Three new dishes will also be added to the breakfast menus at these pubs including "Fiesta Brunch", fresh fruit and yoghurt, and American-style pancakes.

The brunch will include poached egg, toast, guacamole, pico de gallo, grilled halloumi-style cheese and mushroom salsa.

More vegan options will also be introduced on the menu as part of these overall changes.

This will include vegan beans on toast, a vegan sausage butty, and a vegan tomato and basil soup.

Two new desserts will also be on offer including a sticky toffee pudding and a millionaires dessert.

These options will be available from all three restaurants from May 1.
